NEW! Online Virtual Outcome based Posture Therapy Session

This is a session designed to empower you to restore your posture at home with the tools you will learn. We know alignment, breathing, coordination in the core muscle group are all key components of healing. The muscle group we will be working on are abdominal muscles, diaphragm, pelvic floor, and lumbar muscles to create stability in the spine.
;
We will start with assessment of your breathing you will learn to do diaphragmatic breathing then you will learn floor restorative movements which integrates breathing and components of Neuromuscular re-patterning techniques. If done consistently can tone the core muscles of the body empowering you to align your posture and help you keep pain-free.

.
What a session looks like:

The following are testimonials:

“I really enjoyed my postural therapy session. I found the techniques to be challenging, but even after one session can feel that belly breathing is easier, muscles are more relaxed and I feel calmer. They are also continuing to help me build the mind-body awareness that I’ve started to develop during massage therapy sessions with Mara. I think these postural therapy sessions will be helpful even once things are back to normal, because of chronic issues I’m working through. But I find them particularly helpful right now given that I’m a lot less active given the shelter-in-place order. I definitely plan to practice these techniques on my own so that I can continue to feel better and build strength!” Liz B 2020

“I have been trying to do the exercise you taught me as much as I can here and every time I do this exercise, I feel directly my body become relaxed and recovers back to a good status. Especially if I do that before going to bed, I feel like it helps my backache that has been happening most-likely every morning which I do not feel as intensely as before and I am sleeping better than before.  But I have a bit tense shoulder this week as I was grinding teeth last night…I massaged around my ears and neck last night since the part of my body was feeling tight…  Also in regular times, I remember to breath in and out more than usual, so the practice is definitely helping. Please use my experience with others. I am so glad that I’ve got to take your postural class at the good timing… It is helping a lot” Mayuko 2020
