Having good posture helps more than your appearance. Improving your posture and strengthening your back muscles will help alleviate back pain. This is a quick self maintenance exercise that you can do anywhere.
Waxing exercise: No not the cosmetic waxing but just the movement, let me explain. This particular exercise will help promote good posture and strengthen your upper back muscles. You should sit up straight in a chair with your feet flat on the floor.
Waxing
- Sit up straight with elbows at sides and bent to 90 degrees (right angle)
- Push shoulders together and down, with palms facing the floor. Hold this for five seconds.
- Make a waxing motion in the air while maintaining the above position, as if you were waxing a car.
- Keep elbows “glued” to sides while completing motion.
- Do this for 20 seconds.
Do this for 30 seconds. Repeat ten times.
